Rotary Club of Green Bay Community Leadership Award

 

Nominating Criteria

 

Please note that individuals representing an organization that has been awarded the Rotary Club of Green Bay Community Leadership Award within the past five years are not eligible.(i.e. if an individual from XYZ Co. received the award in 2010, another individual from XYZ Co. is not eligible until 2016).

 

Nominations are evaluated on the professionalism and quality of information provided in the submittal.

Successful nominees must meet the following criteria:

  • Serve as leader of an organization (i.e. owner, co-owner, President, CEO, Executive Director, Director, etc.); or have been a leader within the previous 24 months
  • Represent a for-profit or non-profit organization
  • Organization must have an office in Brown County
  • Organization has $15 million or less in annual sales or 5 - 99 employees

Requirements:
Demonstrate how the nominee has:

  • Shown leadership within Brown County
  • Shown leadership within the nominee's own industry
  • Excelled at growth (financial and/or other) and job creation for the organization and/or community
  • Followed Rotary’s “Four-Way Test” relating to truthfulness, fairness, goodwill and ethics

Nominations:

Members of the Selection committee cannot submit nominations.

As a primary part of the nomination, we request that the nominator fully complete the nomination form, including these three questions (each answer is limited to 200 words). Responses should reflect Rotary’s “Four-Way Test” relating to truthfulness, fairness, goodwill and ethics.

 

To be considered, nominations must be submitted in the form provided below, and must be received by the Rotary Club of Green Bay no later than 5:00 p.m. (CST), November 25th, 2009.

 

  • How has the nominee demonstrated leadership in the community and shown “Service Above Self?”
  • How has the nominee demonstrated a vision for his/her organization, community, and his or herself that distinguishes them from others?
  • How has the nominee expressed a sense of commitment to his/her community that has enabled employees and others to volunteer and grow the community?

The recipient will be selected and notified by January 7th, 2010. The recipient will receive Rotary International’s distinguished Paul Harris Fellow ($1,000 value) at the Rotary Club of Green Bay’s meeting on February 8th, 2010 at the Hotel Sierra.
