Men’s Closet Conducts Clothing Drive
Effort will provide low income men with work clothes

(Green Bay, WI) The Men’s Closet, a partnership between the Rotary Club of Green Bay and The Salvation Army, is conducting a clothing drive to replenish supplies at its Mason Street location.  The Men’s Closet provides free, work-appropriate clothing for men in need.

 

“In the past two years, the Men’s Closet has served more than 1,100 area men,” said David Yeghiaian, President of the Rotary Club of Green Bay. “We provide them with clothing they can wear to job interviews, to the work place or to special occasions like weddings. Many individuals simply cannot afford this type of clothing.” 

The Men’s Closet is looking for the following new or gently used items of clothing:

  • Suits
  • Dress and casual shirts
  • Dress and casual pants
  • Work appropriate jeans
  • Shoes; all types
  • Winter Jackets
  • White socks and beltsThe Men’s Closet will not accept t-shirts or swimwear.  

The Men’s Closet is located at  1125 West Mason Street in Green Bay behind the Salvation Army with the exit on Redwood drive.

 

Donations can be dropped off during the Men’s Closet hours:

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to Noon
