We are very conscious of attracting members from younger generations (Generation Y/Millennium Generation) and understand how busy people’s schedules are to balance work and family. While we believe Fellowship is best achieved in person at weekly meetings, we offer other venues – such as E-clubs – for our members.
E-clubs serve as a venue for make-ups if a meeting is missed, as well as another venue for collaborating on service projects – locally and internationally. Members pay dues, carry out community service projects, and work much like the rest of our club, except that a Web site serves as the meeting place. During online meetings, e-club members can use Web cameras and microphones, which allow them to see and hear each other. We offer this as a partial arrangement and option to also attending our weekly meetings.
Members can access any of several E-clubs. Each has its own process for insuring a make-up within the Rotary Club of Green Bay.
